Worcester Technical High School Information

Worcester Technical High School (WTHS) is a vocational school located in Worcester, Massachusetts. While students attend their academic studies in the humanities, arts, and sciences, students also receive additional training in trade within one of the four academies: Alden Design & Engineering, Allied Health & Human Services, Coghlin Construction Technology, and Information Technology & Business Services. WTHS is also labeled as a high-needs school and has a graduation rate of 98.6%. WTHS is committed to academic excellence and holds expectations for other students to succeed in and out of the classroom. Worcester Technical High Schools offers a "High School Diploma and Technical Certification from a high school fully accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc. and Massachusetts Department of Education (DESE), integrated academic and technical curricula so students recognize and understand the value and purpose of their lessons, accelerated academic courses, Education for equity in both the classroom and the work place, and articulation agreements exist for all of our technical programs with such schools as Becker College, Johnson & Wales University, Massachusetts Bay Community College, Mt. Wachusett Community College, New England Institute of Technology, and Quinsigamond Community College" (“About Our School,” n.d.).
