Ninth Grade Biology
While teaching in Worcester, I had the great opportunity to teach Worcester Technical High School (WTHS) and Burncoat High School (BHS). At WTHS, I taught 4 sections of honors biology. Since WTHS is a vocational school, I saw my students bi-weekly for double periods. My periods were split between an A-Week and a Z-Week. Having them set up this way meant that students learned a unit of material every week and every two weeks.
At Burncoat High School, I taught 5 sections of biology, two honors, and three general education. I saw my student's daily BHS follows a since BHS follows 7-period school day. Having them set up this way meant that students learned a unit of material approximately every two weeks
